Sao Tome was fun for me and I really loved my time there. However, you can easily run out of things to do in Sao Tome. I was mostly with a group and we had a nice time, it can however get boring if you are in Sao Tome for a bit. I recommend 7days or less and not more, especially if you do not have plans to head to Principe. I was there for 10days and I was pretty bored during my last 3days especially because plans for Principe fell through.
